Abstract

The paper deals with the controlled dynamic thermal and illumination response of human-built environment in realtime conditions. The aim is to harmonize the thermal and optical behavior of a building with regulated energy flows trough the transparent part of the envelope. For this purpose the proper shading ratio is attained with automated positioning of the roller blind. A control system with fuzzy elements enables the proper positioning of the shading device according the desired inside illumination and temperatures and the outside conditions. For this purpose a test chamber with an opening on the south side was build. Changeable geometry of the window is realized with the automatically conducted external roller blind. The effective fuzzy algorithm enables the corresponding roller blind positioning. The paper presents the control fuzzy system and the algorithm for the positioning of the roller blind and the experimental test chamber with the measuringregulation equipment. Some sets of the experiments will be shown. Based on the experimental work the fuzzy controllers were designed and adjusted and also the whole control system was gradually improved.
