Abstract

In-situ measurements were carried out in July 2000 on several urban spaces in Marseilles’s city (France). In the following, we present the results of these experiments in order to characterise and identify microclimatic effects, which are generated in the Mediterranean City. Several microclimatic effects were expected in this experiment according to the urban forms, the sequences of the day and the weather conditions. These results complete those of other measurements and thermograph study conducted around the same spaces in Summer’99. During this experimental campaign (18th-19th July 00), we use the standard means of measurements and digital camera with fisheye lens.
