Resumo

This paper presents the model and the results that we have achieved in the development of the National Quality Certification Program based on the model 3cv +2 from June 2005. This program has been developed based on an agreement between the ITESM and the National Chamber of Housing Industry. Nowadays, there are in the program 52 voluntary real estate companies from different states of Mexico. The 3cv+2 quality model is a methodology that is always looking for the reduction in the construction processes variability allowed for systematic and continuous evaluation criteria of the quality performance in all construction stages, and allows a systematic way in a process of continuous improvement process the evaluation of house quality performance. With this name, we define the three quality criteria (3cv) for the house’s materials, construction processes and final product, supported by two audits (+2), one internal audit done bye the own company, and the external audit is done by the ITESM. We believe that quality is build step by step and not only trough the revision of the partial products (materials, labor force, and equipment) or just in the final product. With the model we guarantee that the company is using high quality materials, that each construction process has quality, is productive, is efficient, is rational, and fulfill standards. In this way the materials, labor force, equipments and processes will give us a higher quality home value and also quality is guaranteed in all the construction stages.

Abstract

With the model we guarantee that the company is using high quality materials, that each construction process has quality, is productive is efficient, is rational, and fulfill standards. In this way the materials, labor force, equipments and processes will give us a higher quality home value and also quality is guaranteed in all the construction stages.
